Snowshoe Trip in the Pays de la Meije

A wonderful snowshoe getaway, far from the crowds of ski resorts, designed to be contemplative, fun, and active in a unique and renowned setting.

This trip at the gateway to Écrins National Park allows you to explore the Pays de la Meije and the Cerces Massif.

La Meije (3,983 m) was the last great challenge in the Alps and is still considered legendary today.

This adventure is designed to be both dynamic and culturally enriching.

Your hikes will be led by a mountain guide from Bureau Montagne Horizons who has specialized in this activity since 1994.

Your accommodations are specifically chosen for their “mountain spirit”; you’ll be pampered and well cared for, and your meals will be hearty and varied.

This region of the Grand Briançonnais, on the edge of the Hautes-Alpes, is a preserved and protected area, dedicated to freedom in a still-wild environment. We invite you to discover its natural and cultural treasures, its larch forests, its glacial formations, its abundant wildlife (chamois, roe deer, and ibex), and its history.
